What inspired me to ‘Inspiring Women’? – Preeti Juneja

Q. Why we launched the series ‘Inspiring Women Every Wednesday’?

I have always been intrigued to know about the force that leads a person to a transformation journey in service of others. A new life, change in perspective, a problem-solving attitude, a voice, activism, and wisdom gained from years of experience for a cause, simplifying intense life experiences into storytelling that people can relate to, is what I have seen come through in all my inspiring women speak to me. The questions I have asked them is about them & their journey to understand the big why, the thoughts that went into starting something new, and their opinions on important matters that concern us today.

Q. How is the series ‘Inspiring Women Every Wednesday’ related to DreamWeb India?

DreamWeb India was started with the motive to Build and Enhance (BE). To help companies, organisations, and people build something or enhance what they have built to become more reputed, useful, and connected. I have thoughtfully reached out to only those Inspiring Women who are thought leaders: Women who helped build something from scratch and worked over the years to enhance it; with pride, they are a name today in the industry or domain.

Q. How is the series ‘Inspiring Women Every Wednesday’ commercially helping us?

It’s been an enriching experience for me, and I’m grateful to all the Inspiring Women in my series for giving their valuable time to do the interview. There is no money, honorarium, or gifts involved in this. We are happy with the response we are getting from everyone. This feedback and appreciation is a treasure in itself.

It will make me content if my readers feel encouraged by reading these interviews, and make their purpose of life more meaningful.

Q. In the age of new technology, why haven’t we opted for video or reel format? Will the series ‘Inspiring Women Every Wednesday’ continue in blog format?

The beauty of the interviews lies in the fact that they are hand-written answers given to me by my Inspiring Women. In their pace and time, they respond. The answers that could have been one line extended to a few lines, even a big paragraph, because that is what writing does to anyone – it makes a person feel free to express and reassure oneself. More than just a simple interview, to some, it also made them reflect and rethink. The interview process was very inspiring on the whole.

In the blog style, one can skip and read only what one wants to read rather than watch the entire video. It saves time for some people, video storage, and net speed on their devices.
We will continue with this format

Q. Are we frequently doing the interviews?

It’s been challenging for me to find the right people, approach them and get the interview in a time-bound manner. I faced difficulties and sometimes had to drop the interview a few times. It’s not automated or mechanized. I endeavour to ensure 100% frequency on this, and soon I will reach there

Q. Can I apply to be featured on this platform?

We hope more Inspiring Women will see merit in this and reach out to us in times to come. More than the designation, it is an inspiring leadership and the magnitude of work, a life story of resilience, perseverance and strength, for one to be featured here.
